The Electrical Warehouse is a electrical wholesale business based entirely online on a national scale. The company has a huge array of electrical stock and have built up 1,000’s of customers of the years from trading online, offering affordability but also on time deliveries. The business has a very mixed audience targeting both B2B and B2C. The company is growing online but needs to maximise the potential of their loyal customer base.
The Electrical Warehouse has a current very outdated website which is hindering its success both in terms of online sales but also SEO. Having previously experienced poor service from digital agencies the team presented the strategy of taking the current brand refreshing it but also with a heavily penalised domain starting a fresh with a new one.
The client agreed and we then worked on our Full Service process. Reviewing the market we wanted to give the website a different angle, we found that a lot of the current loyal customers on the site placed large orders. More of this business was needed so we created a bespoke economies of scale system which offered customers better rates when buying in bulk.
Still we needed to offer the B2C market a strong purpose to use the website. Pricing was key so we worked with the client to ensure prices competitively matched other websites, also the site visually was appealing and easy to use.
The next steps are to launch a targeted SEO and PPC campaign while also using email marketing to bring customers back to the site and offer rewards for loyalty.
