SEO, short for Search Engine Optimisation, sometimes referred to as Organic Search, is all about helping people to reach your website in a natural way, allowing the engagement to feel as genuine and user-led as possible. While some people are tempted to move away from traditional SEO in favour of focusing entirely on social ads and the like, research suggests that 93% of online traffic still begins with typing into a search engine.

Other forms of attracting traffic, leads and sales can be effective, no doubt, but whether it’s on a computer, tablet or smartphone, people are still letting their typing finger do the talking when it comes to finding what they need. Driving traffic to your site involves a range of processes that work within the complex algorithms at play to keep you ranking highly for the keywords you want most.

Our track record in SEO

With our Directors having experience working with clients such as Red Bull, Next, Allianz and Laura Ashley, as well as a diverse range of SMEs, we know what it take to get the job done. Our on-site SEO involves a combination of technical and creative elements that make your site as user-friendly as possible. To get you the best quality traffic, leads and sales, our team will conduct detailed research into the key search terms associated with your business and use them to optimise your site content.

While paid advertising may produce immediate results by creating a sharp increase in your website traffic, it will only last for as long as you’re paying for those clicks. Organic Search, on the other hand, is the most effective way to allow potential customers to consistently find your site on their own. Many companies have been burnt by poor SEO agencies, which is why we don’t tie you into long-term contracts; we let our numbers do the talking and build a lasting partnership that benefits us both.

Our on-page SEO services focus on all of the factors that determine a web page’s rankings in search engines; optimal placement of keyword/s in the content, your HTML coding, the meta tags and image tags. Optimising all of these factors can be done, with on-page SEO carrying around 30-35% of your overall ranking process, so implementing good on-page SEO can revolutionise rankings and traffic.

How does On-Page SEO work?

From our work with a wide range of clients, we’ve noticed that while a lot of web agencies can build fancy new websites that look the part, they’re sadly quite poor at implementing thorough on-page SEO practices, which really misses the point. We take the technical side of things very seriously, believing it’s vital to allow an expert SEO agency to at least review your on-page setup.

In our industry, we’ve heard no end of stories about a shiny new expensive website going live, and its engagement rates falling flat, and we know it’ll be in large part because they went live without a properly optimised site with strong on-page SEO presence. We’ll make sure that doesn’t happen with you, as we’ll provide expert insight into these key areas:

Keyword Strategy: Our research team will put extensive work into identifying exactly which keywords terms should be targeted, considering factors such as search volume, competition, cost-per-click, locational SEO possibilities, long-form and short-form keywords, all culminating in a detailed strategy.

Technical SEO Audits: We’ll carry out a full technical SEO audit of your current site, determining its strengths, weaknesses and immediate needs, focusing on tasks such as utilising Google Search Console, carrying out a detailed site crawl, reviewing your indexing and monitoring site speed.

Content Review: We’ll go through and review all existing content pages in light of your current SEO rankings, as well as producing a plan for a range of new content based around our marketing knowledge, industry analysis and keyword research.

SEO Audit Documentation: This will all be summed up in a detailed SEO audit document which has the potential to be worth many thousands of pounds to your business based on the impact it can have. We’ve seen many SME clients go on to thrive because of implementing proper SEO practices.

Delivering your On-Page SEO

As we plan and implement all of these services, we’ll be able to consider both the back-end and the front-end of your website at all points of your SEO strategy. We can work with most website CMS, with a team of developers skilled in multiple coding disciplines.

We’ll confirm the best methods for your existing or new website setup before we go ahead with your on-page SEO and we’ll review how effective your on-page SEO improvements are at regular intervals.

What is Off-Page SEO?

Based on the specific ways that your target audience would be best reached, we’ll draw up a strategy for you that combines options for a range of key off-page SEO methods; content marketing, outreach & digital PR, social media management and link building, all designed to offer an extensive approach that provides SEO success. These on-page and off-page SEO methods work in tandem to help you rank highly for different search terms, generate quality leads and increase traffic to your site.

Link auditing, reclamation and removal: One of the first and most useful tasks we can do is an extensive audit of your current profile of links, examining the effectiveness of what is currently in place and looking particularly for any links that may be deemed as unnatural by Google. Unnatural links can lead to Google penalties which can ruin all the good work you’ve put into your search term rankings, so we’ll go over every link in detail and make sure anything harmful is removed, as well as looking for gaps in your current collection of links to determine the most effective places to build new links.

Link building: At the same time as analysing your current collection of links and rapidly removing any detrimental ones, we’ll begin to put together a link building strategy that will determine the ideal number, type and placement of links that we’ll create for you going forward. The combination of our technical and creative expertise means that you’ll get quality content with each link, all designed, uploaded and structure for maximum SEO benefit.

Outreach & Digital PR: We’ll produce an ‘Outreach & Digital PR’ strategy to gain as much media exposure as possible for your business. Our digital PR specialists will research the most popular types of media reporting within your industry and utilise our media links to reach out to the most prominent influencers and journalists who have reach within your target audience. We’re able to create everything from relevant news articles to entertaining opinion pieces to grab the attention of your readers on various online platforms and engage them for long enough to expose your brand. We’ll use our existing contacts to network and find out the best places to get your content covered.

Content Marketing: We’ll work with you to refine your brand message and come up with a strategy to reach new and existing customers in the most effective way, blending the perfect quality, quantity and style of content. We’re able to build blogs or use email marketing to grab the attention of your customer base through the digital platforms that they use the most. Our skilled team will provide you with unique ideas and use interesting features such as infographics and micro-sites to help you go viral and gain widespread attention.

Social Media Management: We’ll find out the most popular social media platforms among your target audience and manage campaigns that allow you to build a strong character for your brand and interact with potential customers in a way that’s both relevant and appealing. By improving your online presence in this way, you’ll gain recognition for your brand amongst a whole new audience. We’ll provide an authentic and intelligent voice that gains you increased engagement whilst fitting your brand image. The ultimate aim is to convert your followers to loyal customers and clients.

Quality of Leads

How we recorded the quality of leads

Data and analytics is crucial for an agency, PPC and SEO can quite easily generate leads, and analytics can record where these leads come from, but the unknown is the lead quality.

We developed in-house a lead generation tracking system. This allows staff to rate and case manage online marketing leads. So over time we can track what keywords, channels and demographic types generated good and poor quality leads.

This is new technology that puts us ahead of the competition, as an agency we will be able to model the digital marketing based on actual profitable leads.
